Students who wish to complete BIOL 2401 and 2402 at Tyler Junior College must take BIOL 2404 as a prerequisite.  If taken at another college this prerequisite does not apply.

All courses in this curriculum can be taken online through Tyler Junior College except BIOL 2404 lab, BIOL 2401 lab, and BIOL 2402 lab which must be taken on campus.  If necessary the program chair can assist you in finding online lab courses offered through other colleges.  

Tyler Junior College also offers the option of taking the following courses within the curriculum on campus:  ENGL 1301, BIOL 2401, HITT1305, BCIS 1405, BIOL 2402, HITT1303, POFM 1400, POFT 1327, SPCH 1321, Social/Behavior Science Elective, Humanities/Fine Arts Elective.

Tyler Junior College offers the following courses Online Only: HITT1401, HITT1445, HITT1167*, HPRS2301, HITT1353, HITT1341, HITT1311, HITT1266*, HITT2339, HITT2335, HITT2343.  These courses must be taken in sequence and are only offered in either the fall or spring semester as designated on the HIT Program Online Curriculum page.

Courses may be taken at other colleges/universities and transferred to Tyler Junior College according to the guidelines listed in the Course Credit and Course Transfer Policies page.

*HITT1167 and HITT1266 Practicum courses are offered online, but also require attendance at selected health care facilities.  The Program Chair and Practicum Coordinator must approve these facilities.  They will also assist you in selecting these facilities if necessary.
