is a lifelong experience. That's why the Tyler Junior College Regional
Training & Development Complex offers more than 200 Continuing
Education courses, including more than 30 courses on using your
PC or running various software applications.
Distance
Learning Instructional
Television & Courses by Computer Class via the Internet.
Seniors
College (50+) Tyler
Junior College's mission is to provide life-long opportunities
that broaden the mind,challenge the spirit and maximize human
potential. An integral part of the community, the College
provides these opportunities in an environment which encourages
the full participation of all its citizens. In
1997, Seniors College was established as the primary instrument
for special educational programs for seniors, folks of over
50 years of age.
Scholars
Academy Are you looking
for an adventurous program that will develop your skills
and prepare you for the best of four-year universities? Then
look at Tyler Junior College's new Scholars' Academy. The
Academy is open to any high school graduate who meets the
admission criteria. In small classes students explore the
basic courses in depth and make connections between disciplines
through an enriching extracurricular program.
