Bachelor of Science Degree from Jacksonville State University, Jacksonville, Alabama
Master of Arts degree from University of Alabama
Additional graduate studies at University of Texas in Tyler

Courses: SPCH 1321 and ENG 1301 (Dual Credit at the high school)

Experience:

I have been an adjunct instructor at TJC for the past 16 years, teaching both English composition and speech communications. Presently, I teach at Hawkins High School during the day and evening classes at TJC.

Hawkins ISD Educator of the Year -- 2004-2005
TJC Adjunct Instructor of the Year -- 2008-2009

Hobbies, etc.:

I have designed and published a teacher plan book for middle and high school teachers.

I enjoy lots of things--actually, almost everything I do: teaching, gardening, writing letters, watching our hummingbirds, and especially having fun with the grandchildren.
