Tyler Junior College Classic Fairy Tale Theatre

Briar Rose
Briar Rose

Each semester Theatre Appreciation Sections 001 and 002 spend the semester preparing "classic" fairy tales for elementary school students. The class sections are separated into "casts" and choose a fairy tale to dramatize. They rehearse these tales in preparation for "hitting the road". Area elementary schools that are within easy distance of the campus are contacted to receive these performances. "Easy distance" is related to the students leaving campus at 9:00 a.m., traveling to the school, performing two fairy tales, and returning to campus by 9:50 a.m.  Interested schools and institutions may contact the program for more information.
