PURPOSE AND GOALS
OF COURSE: To familiarize the student with the various ways
that communication affects our personal lives, both nonverbally
and verbally.

COURSE GRADE:
A pre-test, three major exams, homework, a personal crest, a group
project and a post-test. The pre-test is not counted in any way
to determine the final grade.
METHODS OF INSTRUCTION:
A combination of lectures and class exercises supplemented by films,
instructor-provided supplementary handout materials, textbook assignments,
exams and assigned self-evaluation exercise.
METHODS OF EVALUATION:
