This course includes an elementary study of play analysis, playwriting, and dramatic criticism as well as the techniques and modern theatre practice in the performance, technical, and management positions.

COURSE: By the end of the semester the student will be able to satisfactorily complete all of the listed learning objectives with a minimum of 70 percent competency. The purpose of this course is to introduce the student to the theories, methods, and practices that compose theatre as an art form.
