Hi! I am Goldie Byrd, one of the Clinical Instructors in the TJC Radiology Program. I graduated in1996 from Kettering College of Medical Arts in Kettering, Ohio. I worked as a staff technologist there at Kettering Medical Center for the next 3 years before relocating back to the Tyler area. I was so ready to get back to Texas! I worked the next two years as a staff tech. for Trinity Mother Frances and then joined the Tyler Junior College Radiology Team. I still work PRN at Mother Francis to keep up with the technology and to stay involved with the busyness and excitement of the x-ray department. There is very rarely a dull moment! I have always found x-ray interesting and I enjoy working with the students as they begin their careers in the field.

Outside of work, I enjoy shopping, jogging and exercizing, or honestly... almost anything outside. I attend a wonderful church and am also involved with the choir and youth departments there.. Between all of this and my close friends, I keep myself out of most mischief and on the go much of the time. I like to be active.
