Apache Band Gold

We want to reconnect you with the past and the time that each of you spent as a member of the Apache Band. Welcome, explore the links and study the pictures because this site is all about YOU - the alumni of the Tyler Junior College.

Many of you look back on your time at TJC as some of the best years of your life. Now is the time to give back for all that TJC and the Apache Band have done for you. Please consider joining the Alumni Association and the Apache Band GOLD at this time. For more information or questions, please contact Apache Band Director Jeremy Strickland.

If you have not already done so, we need you to join the TJC Alumni Association / Apache Band Gold Lifetime Membership for $200 and $50 goes to the Apache Band and your lifetime membership in Apache Band Gold.

As an Alumni member, you will receive many additional benefits including:

Band Gold Lifetime members will receive a special band t-shirt!

  • Lapel pin
  • Decal sticker
  • The Apache magazine full of college news, features, campus events, and class notes
  • Free admission to all home athletic games and theatre and music productions
  • 10% discount at the Campus Bookstore on everything (excluding textbooks)
  • Alumni member's dependents are eligible to apply for alumni scholarships
  • Free admission to all Alumni Homecoming events

Joining is easy. Be sure that you direct your "gift" portion to the Apache Band for your membership dues. You will receive your membership card from the office of Alumni Relations in the mail. By doing this, you will be a member of two alumni organizations (TJC Alumni Association and the Apache Band GOLD) that both work together to keep their members informed and updated about all that is going on at TJC and with the Band.
