Adult Student Services

If you are an adult or parent who is starting college for the first time or returning to college after an extended absence, Adult Student Services may be able to help you in a variety of ways.

The Perkins Data/Grant Coordinator in the Perkins/Adult Student Services office in Pirtle 128, is available to guide you through the process of going back to school.

You may schedule an individual appointment by calling 903-510-2391, or attend the Adult Student Preview Day held each Fall and Spring semester.

If you are an Associate of Applied Science-Careerl/Technical major, Carl D. Perkins Grant funds may be available to help eligible students pay for childcare, books, and/or transportation costs.

Crisis counseling is also available in Support Services for single parents, displaced homemakers, and other returning adult students.

For other needs students may be referred to on-campus or off campus sources for help.
